Work History
As a student coming from a single parent household as well as a first-generation college student, I have always supported myself financially. My first job I had was at age 14, and I haven't stopped working since. Although all these years of work have been very beneficial and have taught me amazing lessons, I haven't been able to give as much time as I'd like to jobs that will apply to my future career in the healthcare industry.

I plan on attending the Technical Health Academy this summer to become a certified medical assistant. Upon graduation from the academy, I would like to work in a healthcare setting to acquire hours and experience for Physician Assistant School.

Community Service
Couponing
During the Covid-19 shutdown, I had a ton of free time on my hands. I remember one day I was scrolling on YouTube and saw a video on extreme couponing. I watched it and wondered if I was capable of doing the same thing.
Out of curiosity, I learned more about it and before I knew it, I was leaving the drugstore every Sunday with over $200 worth of name brand household items such as toothpaste, hair care, laundry items, makeup, feminine care, and more.

I began to start a stockpile and used it as a way to give back to my family and my community. I ended up donating over 70% of my stockpile to women's shelters and others in need.
